Time once again for BAMM’s regular Friday list of curiosities to keep you talking over the weekend. This week: before they were famous …

It’s easy to forget that – beneath the bravado, bluster, millions of dollars and non-stop sex with beautiful people – rock stars are just like us. They have the same insecurities, the same neuroses, the same phobias. Most importantly of all, though: they also went to school, and they also shared that difficult transition period between childhood and adolescence which makes most of us a little less … shall we say … photogenic.

Let’s take a look, then, at some rock star high school pictures, and marvel at how just how much they’ve changed …

Hmmm. Literally have no idea who this could be.

You have got to be f**king kidding.


Who is this sweet-looking girl going to grow up to be? A charming secretary or Idaho housewife?

Ah. Gwen Stefani. I bet she had ‘no doubt’ about her future. Huh? See what we did there? Right, guys? Right?


Poor kid. He must get bullied 24/7. God only knows how this is going to affect his future. Can’t expect much from him, I suppose.
